Barrier Removal

Barrier removal is required where "readily achievable" as defined by the law.   The law defines a number of things that may be considered necessary.  An example is the i nstall ation of curb ramps and access to ground floor entrances .

Alternatives to Barrier Removal

      Where full barrier removal is not financially or architecturally feasible, the ADA has established a list of compliance priorities that should be followed by property owners .
