| How to get collection judgment on tenant's credit report |

| Hello! Can anyone give me some advice on reporting to a tenant's credit report?
I already have a collection judgment (tenant already evicted and wage garnishmet in process), which I thought would automatically be placed on the evicted tenant's credit report. I just checked and it is not listed on there. What do I have to do to get this eviction/coeection judgment on the evicted tenant's credit report?
Thanks! |

| It is usually best to be sure that the debtors social security number is on the recorded judgement to insure that it gets picked up by the credit bureaus.

| Thank you! I also navigated the Tenant Screening site of RHOL more and found out that they provide this service. So I followed the steps indicated and hopefully it'll take a little time to set it up with the credit bureaus. That saves a load off my mind.... |

| How were you able to get the wage garnishment? The rental property is in Texas and I have the eviction judgement, but no way to collect as the tenant has no real property on which to place a lien. |

| A wage garnishment has nothing to do with property owned, but only requires that they have a job. If the person is self-employed, you need take other approaches.
Also, if you have a judgment, it should have been picked up by the credit bureaus and you may get paid someday when a lender or other grantor of credit requires payment of the judgment before granting credit. |
